The president of Zambia Michael Sata
and his government have legitimised homosexuality rights in Zambia.T
he welcoming of homosexuality in the country came after the British
Prime minister Cameroon threatened to take away aid from African
countries who did not respect homosexuality rights.
| An abomination to African countries |
If that's what Zambia wants it’s
unknown because the government has not yet commented on their new
policy. But the social groups in Zambia are up in arms against the homosexuality policy introduced in the country. The countries that have not accepted homosexuality are said
to be violating human right but then the question at hand is, “Is
the Zambian government ‘s move to welcome homosexuality without
the public ‘s approaval not a violation of human rights too?

That is a disturbing image but the article brings up a good point. Who has the right to decide which human right overrides another? And if they accept homosexuality in Zambia, who are they accepting it for since the people themselves don't want it?
